SEE ALSO...

CstF-77 Antibody (G-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects CstF-77 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CstF-77 antibody (G-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CstF-77, also known as cleavage stimulation factor 77 kDa subunit or CstF3, plays a crucial role in mRNA precursor polyadenylation, a vital process for gene expression regulation. CstF-77 functions as part of a heterotrimeric complex called CstF, which recognizes specific RNA sequences downstream of the polyadenylation site. CstF-77 bridges CstF-64 and CstF-50 subunits while featuring an α-helical structure with 11 Half-a-TPR-containing repeats, essential for stability and function. CstF-77 also interacts with key polyadenylation proteins like CPSF1 and FCP1, highlighting an integral role in mRNA processing and gene expression regulation across eukaryotic organisms.
