    SEE ALSO...

Crry Antibody (TLD-1C11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG antibody that detects Crry protein of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM). Crry (TLD-1C11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Crry protein, also known as complement receptor-related gene Y, plays a crucial role in regulating the complement system, which protects the body from inflammation-induced damage. Crry (TLD-1C11) monoclonal antibody functions as a complement regulator that inhibits complement proteins C3 and C4 convertases, thereby preventing unwanted marking of host cells for destruction. This regulatory function maintains tissue homeostasis and modulates immune responses, especially in kidneys, where Crry helps mitigate renal interstitial disease caused by proteinuria. Crry serves as a functional ortholog of human decay-accelerating factor (DAF) and membrane cofactor protein (MCP), highlighting significance in both murine and human health. Manipulation of Crry may offer therapeutic avenues for conditions such as traumatic brain injury or stroke, while deletion of the Crry gene has been implicated in reproductive issues, including miscarriages.

How can Crry (TLD-1C11): sc-53530 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

    Asked by: Trav11
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-53530 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-53530 FITC).
