CRP2BP Antibody (A-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CRP2BP of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CRP2BP (A-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CRP2BP, also known as cysteine-rich protein 2-binding protein, is a 782 amino acid protein encoded by the human gene CSRP2BP. CRP2BP plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and regulation by specifically interacting with the double LIM domain protein CRP2, which is essential for various cellular processes, including differentiation and growth control. The LIM domain, characterized by its zinc finger structure, is vital for CRP2BP′s function, as this domain facilitates protein-protein interactions critical for signaling complex assembly. CRP2BP is predominantly located in the nucleus and cytoplasm, with highest expression levels in skeletal muscle and heart tissues, highlighting CRP2BP′s importance in muscle development and cardiac function.
