CRISP-3 Antibody (LV-2A2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects CRISP-3 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CRISP-3, a member of the cysteine-rich secretory protein family, plays a significant role in various physiological processes, including the modulation of immune responses and the regulation of inflammation. CRISP-3 is primarily expressed in the pancreas and prostate, as well as in saliva, highlighting its importance in both reproductive and immune functions. Notably, CRISP-3 is an early response gene that may be involved in the pathophysiology of autoimmune conditions, such as Sjogren′s syndrome, where CRISP-3 could contribute to the development of lesions. CRISP-3′s presence in seminal plasma and interaction with other proteins in the epididymis suggest a critical role in sperm maturation and function, making anti-CRISP-3 antibody (LV-2A2) a valuable tool for research in reproductive biology and immunology.
