CREB3L3 Antibody (G-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CREB3L3 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CREB3L3 (G-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CREB3L3, also known as cAMP-responsive element-binding protein 3-like protein 3 or CREBH, is a 461 amino acid single-pass type II membrane protein primarily localized to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). CREB3L3 responds to ER stress by undergoing cleavage and translocation to the nucleus, where CREB3L3 functions as a transcription factor. This translocation activates genes involved in the unfolded protein response and the acute phase response, both essential for cellular homeostasis during stress conditions. CREB3L3 is underexpressed in hepatocellular carcinoma, suggesting a potential role as a tumor suppressor. CREB3L3 operates as a dimer and features a leucine zipper domain, a KDEL-like sequence, and a basic leucine zipper (bZIP) domain, which are critical for DNA binding capabilities. Alternative splicing results in three isoforms of CREB3L3, further diversifying functional roles in cellular processes.
