SEE ALSO...

CPSF6 Antibody (L16) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects CPSF6 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CPSF6, also known as CFIm68, plays a crucial role in the processing of eukaryotic mRNAs, specifically in the cleavage and polyadenylation of pre-mRNA, which is essential for the stability and translation of mRNA. CPSF6 contains an N-terminal RNA recognition motif and a C-terminal RS-like domain, allowing CPSF6 to interact with other splicing factors such as SRp20, Tra-2β, and 9G8, thereby facilitating the assembly of the cleavage factor complex. CPSF6 is predominantly localized to paraspeckles within the nucleus, where CPSF6 forms a heterodimer with NUDT21, contributing to the CFIm complex that is vital for the initial step of pre-mRNA processing. Proper functioning of CPSF6 ensures accurate maturation of mRNA, which is critical for gene expression and cellular function. Anti-CPSF6 antibody (L16) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying mRNA processing and its implications in various biological processes and diseases.

I am using CPSF6 (L16): sc-100692 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
