SEE ALSO...

CPEB Antibody (G-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects CPEB protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CPEB antibody (G-6) is available as a non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. CPEB (G-6) antibody recognizes a highly conserved RNA-binding protein that binds to the cytoplasmic polyadenylation element, influencing translational repression and mRNA localization. CPEB plays a crucial role in regulating messenger RNA translation, vital for various cellular processes, including cell-cycle progression and early developmental body plan establishment. This regulation is particularly important in oocyte maturation, where mRNA activation and repression are tightly controlled. CPEB is synthesized during oogenesis and accumulates in the oocyte, with degradation occurring through the proteasome pathway, likely involving ubiquitin-conjugated intermediates. Understanding CPEB function and regulatory mechanisms is essential for elucidating gene expression and developmental biology complexities, making CPEB (G-6) monoclonal antibody a valuable research tool.

Dear Santa Team, Hello, I want to ask your product CPEB Antikörper (G-6): sc-514688, how much of this molecular mass? From your example pictures, almost all have different molecular mass, so if I do WB, how much of the molecular mass it is predicted?

Asked by: Luyang
Thank you for your question. The expected molecular weight of CPEB in western blots is 63 kDa.
