SEE ALSO...

Coronin 1B Antibody (G-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Coronin 1B of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Coronin 1B antibody (G-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Coronin 1B plays a crucial role in regulating cell motility and cytoskeletal dynamics, primarily through interactions with the Arp2/3 complex, which is essential for actin polymerization and lamellipodia formation. Phosphorylation of Coronin 1B at Serine 2 by protein kinase C modulates leading edge dynamics of migrating cells, influencing fibroblast movement and cellular responses to environmental cues. Coronin 1B belongs to a family of coronin proteins sharing structural similarities, including WD repeat domains that facilitate protein-protein interactions, vital for processes like phagocytosis and intracellular trafficking. Understanding Coronin 1B function and regulation helps explain its role in cellular motility and potential implications in diseases characterized by altered cell movement, such as cancer metastasis.
