    SEE ALSO...

Copine 9 Antibody (F-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects copine 9 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-copine 9 antibody (F-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Copine 9, also known as CPNE9, copine-9, CPN9, or COPN9, is a 503 amino acid protein that belongs to the copine family of evolutionarily conserved, soluble, calcium-dependent, membrane-binding proteins. Copine 9 plays a crucial role in signal transduction and membrane trafficking, which are essential processes for cellular communication and function. Copine 9 contains two N-terminal C2 domains and one C-terminal von Willebrand factor A (VWFA) domain, which is integral to binding phospholipids in a calcium-dependent manner. Studies in Arabidopsis thaliana show that mutants lacking copine proteins exhibit reduced cell numbers and smaller cell sizes, likely due to defects in vesicle fusion or transport, highlighting copine 9′s importance in maintaining cellular integrity and facilitating communication within and between cells.
