CNRIP1 Antibody (H-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CNRIP1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-CNRIP1 antibody (H-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CNRIP1, also known as cannabinoid receptor interacting protein 1, plays a crucial role in modulating cannabinoid receptor signaling, particularly in relation to the CB1 receptor, which is predominantly expressed in the brain and involved in processes such as appetite regulation, synaptic plasticity, and neuroprotection. CNRIP1 exists as two alternatively spliced isoforms, CRIP1a and CRIP1b, with CRIP1a specifically interacting with CB1 to inhibit voltage-gated calcium channels, thereby influencing neurotransmitter release and neuronal excitability. This interaction helps explain the physiological effects of cannabinoids and their therapeutic potential in treating various neurological disorders.
