    SEE ALSO...

CNRIP1 Antibody (H-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CNRIP1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-CNRIP1 antibody (H-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CNRIP1, also known as cannabinoid receptor interacting protein 1, plays a crucial role in modulating cannabinoid receptor signaling, particularly in relation to the CB1 receptor, which is predominantly expressed in the brain and involved in processes such as appetite regulation, synaptic plasticity, and neuroprotection. CNRIP1 exists as two alternatively spliced isoforms, CRIP1a and CRIP1b, with CRIP1a specifically interacting with CB1 to inhibit voltage-gated calcium channels, thereby influencing neurotransmitter release and neuronal excitability. This interaction helps explain the physiological effects of cannabinoids and their therapeutic potential in treating various neurological disorders. CNRIP1′s ability to modulate cannabinoid receptor activity highlights its significance in the endocannabinoid system and potential as a target for drug development focused on enhancing neuroprotection and analgesia.

I was wondering if it reacts with all three human isoforms(Q96F85, B8ZZB8)?

    Asked by: Karinalz
Thank you for your question. This mouse monoclonal antibody, CNRIP1 (H-1): sc-515504, is raised against amino acids 1-164 representing full length CNRIP1 of human origin, corresponding to UniProt accession number: Q96F85. The exact epitope recognized by this monoclonal antibody has not been determined. Therefore, we do not know if it will react with all known human isoforms of CNRIP1.
