CNOT7 Antibody (18W) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects CNOT7 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CNOT7 antibody (18W) is available as the non-conjugated format. CNOT7, also known as CCR4-NOT transcription complex, subunit 7, CAF1 (CCR4-associated factor 1), hCAF-1, or BTG1-binding factor 1, is a crucial component of the CCR4-NOT complex, which is involved in both transcription regulation and mRNA degradation. CNOT7 is predominantly located in the nucleus, where CNOT7 plays a vital role in various cellular processes, including the regulation of nuclear hormone receptor activities. CNOT7 contains specific domains that facilitate interaction with other proteins, such as RXRβ, TOB1, TOB2, BTG1, BTG2, and BTG3, which are essential for function in gene expression and mRNA turnover. CNOT7 knockout mice exhibit sterility and increased bone mass, highlighting CNOT7′s important role in spermatogenesis and function as a suppressor of bone mass and bone morphogenetic protein actions in osteoblasts. These characteristics make CNOT7 a critical target for studies related to reproductive biology and bone metabolism, further emphasizing the value of CNOT7 monoclonal antibody (18W) in research applications.
