CNOT11 Antibody (C-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CNOT11 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-CNOT11 antibody (C-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CNOT11, also known as CCR4-NOT transcription complex, subunit 11, plays a crucial role in the CCR4-NOT complex, which is essential for regulating gene expression and mRNA degradation. This complex is involved in various cellular processes, including the modulation of nuclear hormone receptor activities and the regulation of histone modifications, particularly Histone H3 lysine 4 methylation, through a ubiquitin-dependent pathway that likely engages the proteasome. CNOT11 consists of 510 amino acids and forms a subcomplex with CNOT10, which is docked to the CNOT1 scaffold, highlighting its integral role in the larger CCR4-NOT complex. The gene encoding CNOT11 is located on human chromosome 2q11.2, a region that is significant due to its size and gene density, comprising approximately 8% of the human genome and containing over 1,400 genes. Understanding the function and interactions of CNOT11 is vital for elucidating its contributions to cellular regulation and potential implications in various diseases.
