CNK1 Antibody (G-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CNK1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CNK1 (G-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CNK1, also known as connector enhancer of kinase suppressor of Ras 1 or KSR, is a 720 amino acid cytoplasmic and membrane protein that plays a crucial role in the RAS-dependent signaling pathway, which is essential for the integration and transmission of proliferation, differentiation, and survival signals from membrane receptors to downstream effector pathways. Notably, CNK1 interacts with several key proteins, including RAF, which is integral to the transduction of mitogenic signals from the cell membrane to the nucleus. The C-terminal region of CNK1 directly binds to RAF, effectively blocking RAS- and RAF-dependent signaling when CNK1 is overexpressed, while the N-terminal portion contains two domains critical for its cooperation with RAS. Additionally, alternative splicing of CNK1 results in the production of two isoforms, further diversifying its functional roles in cellular signaling.
