CNBP Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects CNBP in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-CNBP antibody (H-7) is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The cellular nucleic acid binding protein (CNBP) is a highly conserved RNA-binding protein that regulates gene expression and enhances heterologous protein production in eukaryotic cells. CNBP is predominantly localized in the nucleus, where CNBP is essential for proper brain development, particularly in the anterior visceral endoderm and subsequent stages of anterior definitive endoderm, anterior neuroectoderm, anterior mesendoderm, headfolds, and forebrain formation. CNBP′s ability to interact with various RNA molecules and other proteins is vital for cellular processes, including forebrain induction and specification. Mutations in the CNBP gene can lead to severe forebrain truncation and craniofacial defects, highlighting CNBP′s importance in morphogenetic movements during early embryonic development. Overexpression of CNBP has been shown to activate cell proliferation and stimulate c-Myc promoter activity, indicating CNBP′s potential role in oncogenic processes.
