CLEC-16A Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects CLEC-16A of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CLEC-16A antibody (H-4) is available as the non-conjugated form. CLEC-16A, also known as C-type lectin domain family 16, member A, plays a crucial role in the immune system, particularly in regulating innate immunity. CLEC-16A is primarily expressed in dendritic cells, B lymphocytes, and natural killer cells, where CLEC-16A contributes to pathogen recognition and immune response modulation. CLEC-16A is involved in interactions with specific proteins essential for immune signaling pathways, including those mediating responses to infections and inflammation. Defects in CLEC-16A have been linked to insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus and primary adrenal insufficiency, highlighting CLEC-16A′s importance in maintaining immune homeostasis. Multiple isoforms of CLEC-16A arise from alternative splicing, which may influence functional diversity and interactions within the immune system.
