Datasheets
  • Clb3 Antibody (D-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against amino acids 1-427 mapping near the N-terminus of Clb3 of Saccharomyces cerevisiae origin
  • recommended for detection of Clb3 of y origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP and m-IgG1 BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for Clb3 Antibody (D-10) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with Clb3 Antibody (D-10) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

Clb3 Antibody (D-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Clb3 in yeast by applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Clb3 antibody (D-10) plays a crucial role in studying cell cycle regulation, particularly during the G2 to M phase transition, where Clb3 is essential for proper mitosis progression. Clb3, a member of the cyclin family, forms a complex with cyclin-dependent kinase Cdc28, which initiates cell division events. Precise regulation of Clb3 is critical, as overexpression or misregulation can lead to uncontrolled cell proliferation, a hallmark of cancer. Clb3 undergoes post-translational modifications, including phosphorylation, which influences stability and activity, impacting cell cycle transition timing. Clb3′s interactions with Cdc28 and various cyclins underscore its importance in orchestrating complex cell cycle progression signaling pathways.

How much sample do you recommend loading on the gel for Western blot detection using Clb3 (D-10): sc-136984?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
We recommend loading 40–60 µg whole cell lysate, 10–20 µg nuclear extract, 5-10 µg transfected lysate, or 10–20 ng purified protein per lane.
