Claudin-4 Antibody (A-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects claudin-4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-claudin-4 antibody (A-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Claudin-4 plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of tight junctions, which are essential for regulating paracellular transport and maintaining the barrier function of epithelial and endothelial tissues. These tight junctions prevent solute leakage and maintain distinct environments of different tissue compartments. Claudin-4 is specifically localized to tight junctions in various tissues, including the pancreas, where claudin-4 is found at the junctions of ductal and acinar cells, and in the colon, where claudin-4 is expressed in surface epithelial cells. The human claudin-4 gene is located on chromosome 7q11.23, and claudin-4 expression is tightly regulated, highlighting its importance in tissue-specific functions and the overall maintenance of cellular homeostasis.

I have Anti-claudin-4 Antibody (A-12): sc-376643 AF-647 cojugated. How can i use it for FCM analysis of live cells. Is it possible?

You can find our recommended flow cytometry protocol under this link: https://www.scbt.com/de/resources/protocols/flow-cytometry However, the epitope of this antibody is a C-terminal sequence within a cytoplasmic domain of claudin-4. This means that any flow cytometry staining will require permeabilization.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 腹水セルブロックで染色しました。Leica Bond maxで50倍希釈、PAb15分、pH6,9のそれぞれで20分で賦活してます。癌腫症例だったのですが、染色強度が弱く感じ、染まる細胞と染まらない細胞がありました。他のレビューが良かったので、条件の設定が悪かったかもしれませんが、自施設では上記としました。
