    SEE ALSO...

CKR-4 Antibody (G-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects CKR-4 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CKR-4 (G-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CKR-4, also known as C-C chemokine receptor type 4 or CCR4, is a 360 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that plays a crucial role in the immune response by acting as a high-affinity receptor for C-C type chemokines. CCR4 is predominantly expressed in peripheral blood leukocytes and thymus tissue, where CCR4 is involved in the chemotaxis of T cells and monocytes to sites of inflammation. CCR4 is also implicated in the survival of hippocampal neurons, highlighting CCR4′s significance in neuroprotection and potential therapeutic targets in neurodegenerative diseases. CCR4′s interaction with specific chemokines not only facilitates immune cell migration but also suggests a role in modulating inflammatory responses, making CCR4 a vital component in both immune regulation and neuronal health.
