CKR-2B Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 antibody that detects CKR-2B in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CKR-2B, a member of the C-C chemokine receptor family, is a 374 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that plays a crucial role in mediating the immune response by acting as a receptor for various chemokines, including MCP-1 and MCP-3. These interactions influence intracellular calcium levels, which affect signal transduction pathways within the cell, ultimately guiding the migration of immune cells to sites of inflammation. The proper functioning of CKR-2B is essential not only for effective immune responses but also for maintaining homeostasis in the body. CKR-2B has been implicated in facilitating viral infections, highlighting a dual role in both immune regulation and potential pathogenesis. With an ability to influence critical cellular processes, CKR-2B serves as an important target for research into immune responses and related diseases, making anti-CKR-2B antibody (D-6) a valuable tool for scientists studying these complex biological systems.
