CIP2A Antibody (2G10-3B5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects CIP2A of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. CIP2A (2G10-3B5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The cancerous inhibitor of protein phosphatase 2A (CIP2A), also known as p90 autoantigen or KIAA1524, is a single-pass membrane protein that plays a critical role in oncogenesis by inhibiting protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) activity. PP2A inhibition is significant as this vital tumor suppressor regulates various cellular processes, including cell growth and division. By preventing PP2A from dephosphorylating c-Myc, an oncogenic transcription factor, CIP2A stabilizes c-Myc, thereby promoting tumor formation and malignant cell proliferation. CIP2A interaction with PP2A′s catalytic subunit is crucial for human cell transformation progression, highlighting CIP2A′s importance in cancer biology.
