Ciao 1 Antibody (E-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Ciao 1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Ciao 1 (E-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Ciao 1, a member of the WD40 family of proteins, plays a crucial role in cellular processes by interacting with the Wilms′ tumor suppressor protein, WT1. This interaction modulates WT1′s transcriptional activity, which regulates gene expression involved in cell growth and differentiation. Notably, Ciao 1 does not inhibit WT1 binding through conformational changes or interference with its activation domain; instead, Ciao 1 selectively decreases WT1-mediated transcriptional activation.
