CHMP3 Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CHMP3 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-CHMP3 antibody (F-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CHMP3, also known as Vps24, plays a critical role in the endosomal sorting complex required for transport (ESCRT) pathway, which is essential for the proper sorting of endosomal cargo into multivesicular bodies (MVBs). This process is vital for cellular functions such as receptor downregulation and the release of viral particles during infections, including HIV-1, where CHMP3 is involved in the disassembly of the ESCRT-III complex in an ATP-dependent manner. Notably, CHMP3 interacts with other CHMP proteins, such as CHMP2 and CHMP4, to facilitate these processes.
