Datasheets

    • Anti-CHD1 Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ CHD1 antibody, cited in 2 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
    • raised against amino acids 1500-1709 mapping at the C-terminus of CHD1 of human origin
    • Anti-CHD1 Antibody (C-8) is recommended for detection of CHD1 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
    • Anti-CHD1 Antibody (C-8) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
    • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
    • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
    • TransCruz reagent for ChIP application (sc-271626 X, 200 µg/0.1 ml)
    • Contact our Technical Service Department (or your local Distributor) for more information on how to receive a FREE 10 µg sample of CHD1 (C-8): sc-271626.
    • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP and m-IgG1 BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for CHD1 Antibody (C-8) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with CHD1 Antibody (C-8) (see ordering information below).

Why does the image labeled "Western blot analysis of CHD1 expression in K-562 whole cell lysate" look photoshopped or artificially doctored? There is a lighter grey rectangle below the band shown in this lane. Is this expected?

Asked by: anxiousreseacher89
Thank you for your question. This is just an unfortunate case of scanning the original gel in. Review of the physical film confirms that the lane is clean below the target band until a very faint secondary band visible just above the 55 kDa marker, unrelated to the reactivity of the primary antibody (observed in our secondary only control blot). Please contact Technical Service by phone, (800)-457-3801 option 2, email <[email protected]>, or by live chat directly on our website, www.scbt.com if you have any further questions.

I need to use an antibody to detect the protein in samples of equine origin. Do you know if sc-271626: CHD1 (C-8) mouse monoclonal antibody will work?

Asked by: Germaine
Please contact our Technical Service Department and we would be happy to perform sequence analysis and review our data to answer any questions you may have about additional species reactivity.
