    SEE ALSO...

CECR5 Antibody (B-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects CECR5 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CECR5 Antibody (B-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CECR5 protein is part of the cat eye syndrome critical region protein family, which plays a significant role in developmental processes and is implicated in various genetic disorders, including Cat Eye Syndrome (CES). This syndrome is characterized by a range of developmental anomalies, including coloboma of the iris and anal atresia, and is associated with duplications in the 22q11.2 region. CECR5, along with its family members, is widely expressed across different tissues, indicating potential involvement in critical biological functions. CECR5 has been shown to interact with other proteins within the CECR family, which may influence cellular signaling pathways and developmental processes. Understanding the interactions and functions of CECR5 is essential for elucidating its role in both normal physiology and disease states, making anti-CECR5 antibody (B-2) a valuable tool for researchers studying these complex biological systems.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-376068 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
