CEACAM19 Antibody (HY-8H10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CEACAM19 protein of human origin by flow cytometry (FCM) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CEACAM19 antibody (HY-8H10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CEACAM19, also known as carcinoembryonic antigen-like 1, is a 300 amino acid protein that belongs to the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) family within the immunoglobulin superfamily. This family of proteins plays a crucial role in cell adhesion and signal transduction, making CEACAM19 significant in tumor biology, as CEACAM19 is often expressed in various epithelial tumors, including lung adenocarcinoma and colorectal carcinoma. CEACAM19 is ubiquitously expressed, with highest levels found in the prostate, uterus, mammary gland, adrenal gland, small intestine, kidney, skeletal muscle, and fetal brain, and shows particular abundance in breast and prostate cancer cell lines. CEACAM19 exists in two isoforms due to alternative splicing, which may contribute to functional diversity and regulatory roles in cancer progression. CEACAM19′s ability to mediate cell-cell interactions and influence signaling pathways underscores its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target in oncology.
