CDK5RAP3 Antibody (B-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects CDK5RAP3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CDK5RAP3 antibody (B-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CDK5RAP3, also known as cyclin-dependent kinase 5 regulatory subunit-associated protein 3, plays a crucial role in neuronal differentiation, cell proliferation, and DNA repair, making CDK5RAP3 significant in both normal cellular functions and pathological conditions. CDK5RAP3 interacts with Cdk5 activator protein p35, which is essential for activating Cdk5′s enzymatic activity, particularly during neuronal differentiation when Cdk5 activity is markedly elevated. This interaction highlights CDK5RAP3′s importance in neuronal development regulation and potential implications in tumorigenesis, as CDK5RAP3 has been shown to enhance cell proliferation rates upon transfection. CDK5RAP3 is expressed in various tissues, including brain, heart, placenta, liver, skeletal muscle, lung, kidney, and pancreas, and is notably overexpressed in tumor tissues. Three named isoforms of CDK5RAP3 exist due to alternative splicing, and CDK5RAP3 features two leucine zipper motifs along with putative phosphorylation and potential N-myristoylation sites, which may influence functional interactions and regulatory mechanisms.
