CD93 Antibody (B-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects CD93 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CD93 Antibody (B-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CD93 antigen is a 652 amino acid cell-surface glycoprotein expressed in monocytes, neutrophils, platelets, microglia, and endothelial cells, playing a crucial role in intercellular adhesion and apoptotic cell clearance. CD93 is a heavily O-glycosylated, type I transmembrane protein characterized by an N-terminal domain sharing homology with C-type lectin domains, a tandem array of epidermal growth factor-like domains, a single transmembrane domain, and a short cytoplasmic tail. These structural features facilitate CD93′s interactions with various ligands and receptors, influencing immune responses and tissue homeostasis. Originally thought to function as a receptor for complement component C1q, recent research has expanded understanding of CD93′s role in immune regulation and cellular communication, highlighting CD93′s importance in both innate and adaptive immunity.
