    SEE ALSO...

CD53 Antibody (HD77) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects CD53 in human samples through immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). CD53 is a crucial member of the tetraspanin family of membrane proteins, which play significant roles in cell activation, signal transduction, and cell adhesion. CD53 is predominantly expressed in the lymphoid-myeloid lineage, including high levels in human neutrophils, and serves as a pan-leukocyte antigen. CD53 is involved in regulating cell motility and has been identified as a metastasis suppressor, acting as a brake on tumor cell movement. CD53′s structure, characterized by four transmembrane domains, allows interaction with various other proteins, facilitating the formation of signaling complexes essential for immune responses. CD53′s ability to modulate cell behavior highlights its importance in both normal immune function and cancer pathology, making anti-CD53 antibody (HD77) an invaluable tool for researchers studying these processes.
