CD45 monoclonal antibody (2D-1) targets the extracellular domain of human CD45, ensuring reliable recognition across multiple species. CD45 (2D-1) antibody targets a vital transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on all hematopoietic cells, where it functions as a protein tyrosine phosphatase essential for regulating immune cell signaling and activation. Structurally, CD45 consists of an extracellular region with multiple isoforms generated through alternative splicing of exons, a single transmembrane domain, and a conserved intracellular phosphatase domain.
