CD27 Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CD27 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CD27 (B-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CD27 protein plays a crucial role in the immune system as a homodimeric lymphocyte-specific surface antigen found on T and B lymphocytes, facilitating essential co-stimulatory signals necessary for T cell activation when engaged with CD27L. This interaction is vital for T cell proliferation and survival, particularly during immune responses, highlighting CD27′s importance in maintaining effective immune function.
