SEE ALSO...

CD22 Antibody (HD239) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects CD22 in human samples through immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). CD22 is a critical regulator of B cell signaling and plays a vital role in the immune response by modulating the activation and differentiation of B lymphocytes. CD22 (HD239) antibody targets a protein primarily located on the surface of B cells, where CD22 functions as a cell adhesion molecule, facilitating interactions between B cells and other immune cells. CD22 expression on mature B cells is essential for maintaining immune tolerance and preventing autoimmunity, as CD22 helps regulate the strength and duration of B cell receptor signaling. Additionally, CD22 undergoes alternative splicing, resulting in two isoforms, CD22α and CD22β, with CD22β being the predominant form. CD22′s ability to form heterodimers with its isoforms enhances functional diversity, allowing for fine-tuning of B cell responses. Anti-CD22 antibody (HD239) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying B cell biology and related diseases, including acute lymphocytic leukemia, where cytoplasmic CD22 serves as a significant marker.

How can CD22 (HD239): sc-18909 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: jenniferc
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-18909 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-18909 FITC).
