CD1D Antibody (NOR3.2/13.17) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects CD1D in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. CD1D is a crucial member of the CD1 multigene family, which encodes five forms of the CD1 T cell surface glycoprotein, and plays a significant role in the immune system by presenting lipid antigens to T lymphocytes. CD1D is primarily located on the surface of various immune cells, including cortical thymocytes, Langerhans cells, and certain dendritic cells, which is vital for the activation and development of CD1-restricted T cells.
