Datasheets
  • C13orf42 Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgM κ C13orf42 antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against a peptide mapping within an internal region of C13orf42 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of C13orf42 of human origin, Gm4131 of mouse origin and LOC102554746 of rat origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for C13orf42 Antibody (E-3) for WB and IHC(P) applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with C13orf42 Antibody (E-3) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

    SEE ALSO...

C13orf42 Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects C13orf42 of human origin, Gm4131 of mouse origin, and LOC102554746 of rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-C13orf42 antibody (E-3) is available as a non-conjugated format. C13orf42 is located in the cytoplasm and plays a role in cellular signaling pathways, which are crucial for maintaining normal cellular functions and responses to external stimuli. Understanding C13orf42 localization is important since expression or localization changes can lead to pathway dysregulation, potentially contributing to various diseases, including cancer. Chromosome 13, where C13orf42 resides, contains several key tumor suppressor genes, and disruption in encoded protein functions can significantly impact tumorigenesis. C13orf42 presence in the cytoplasm suggests interactions with other signaling molecules, highlighting a potential role in critical cellular processes.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-374567 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
