    SEE ALSO...

C/EBP ε Antibody (2154C4a) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects C/EBP ε in human samples through western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP) applications. C/EBP ε is a member of the CCAAT-enhancer binding protein family, which plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression across various tissues, including adipose tissue, liver, and immune cells. C/EBP ε is particularly important for its involvement in the differentiation of adipocytes and the regulation of metabolic processes, making C/EBP ε a key player in energy homeostasis and obesity-related research. Structurally, C/EBP ε features a bipartite DNA-binding domain that allows C/EBP ε to interact with specific cis-regulatory elements, facilitating function as a transcription factor. C/EBP ε′s ability to form homodimers and heterodimers with other C/EBP family members, such as C/EBP α and C/EBP β, enhances regulatory capacity and allows for complex gene expression patterns in response to various physiological signals. Anti-C/EBP ε antibody (2154C4a) is an essential tool for researchers investigating the roles of this transcription factor in metabolic diseases and cellular differentiation.

I am using C/EBP ε (2154C4a): sc-130029 antibody for immunoprecipitation, how much antibody should I use?

    Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. We recommend using 1–10 µl (i.e., 0.2–2 µg) of antibody with 1 ml of cell lysate. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration.
