C. abortus MOMP Antibody (4/11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects C. abortus MOMP protein of C. abortus origin by western blotting (WB), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-C. abortus MOMP antibody (4/11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The major outer membrane protein (MOMP) of Chlamydophila abortus plays a crucial role in the bacterium′s ability to evade the host immune response, making MOMP a significant factor in the pathogenesis of infections. MOMP is a highly immunogenic protein that forms a trimeric structure, which is essential for maintaining the integrity of the bacterial outer membrane and facilitating interactions with host cells.
