BTEB1 Antibody (A-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects BTEB1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). BTEB1 (A-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. BTEB1, a member of the C2H2 zinc finger family, plays a crucial role in gene regulation by binding to GC-rich motifs found in gene promoters, which can lead to either activation or repression of transcriptional activities. BTEB1 is predominantly localized in the nuclei of endometrial luminal and glandular epithelial cells, where BTEB1 is induced by acetaldehyde and ultraviolet light, highlighting BTEB1′s importance in cellular responses to environmental stimuli. BTEB1 is particularly significant in regulating pregnancy-associated gene expression in the endometrium and mediating JNK-dependent alpha (I) collagen gene expression in hepatic stellate cells, making BTEB1 a vital player in both reproductive biology and liver fibrosis.

Are there any issues with using sc-376422: BTEB1 (A-5) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-376422 conjugates.
