BRCA2 Antibody (3D12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects BRCA2 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). BRCA2 (3D12) antibody is available as the non-conjugated form. BRCA2 protein, also known as breast cancer type 2 susceptibility protein, plays a crucial role in maintaining genomic stability, particularly through involvement in the homologous recombination repair pathway for double-strand DNA breaks. This function helps prevent the accumulation of mutations that can lead to cancer, particularly breast and ovarian cancers.
