Datasheets
  • BMPR-IB Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 κ BMPR-IB antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 11-35 near the N-terminus of BMPR-IB of human origin
  • recommended for detection of BMPR-IB of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for BMPR-IB Antibody (C-8) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with BMPR-IB Antibody (C-8) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

    SEE ALSO...

BMPR-IB Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects BMPR-IB protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-BMPR-IB antibody (C-8) is available as a non-conjugated format. BMPR-IB protein, also known as Bone Morphogenetic Protein Receptor Type 1B, plays a crucial role in transforming growth factor β superfamily signaling pathways, which regulate cell differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis. BMPR-IB is primarily located on cell membranes, forming complexes with type II receptors to initiate intracellular signaling cascades that influence gene expression and developmental processes. BMPR-IB maintains normal cellular functions and tissue homeostasis, as dysregulation has been implicated in various pathologies, including cancer and fibrotic diseases. BMPR-IB also interacts with bone morphogenetic proteins such as BMP-2 and BMP-4, which are critical for bone and cartilage development, highlighting BMPR-IB′s importance in developmental biology and regenerative medicine.
