Blood Group Lewis x Antibody (P12) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa antibody that detects Blood Group Lewis x protein of human origin by immunofluorescence (IF) and immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP). Anti-Blood Group Lewis x antibody (P12) is available as non-conjugated format. Blood Group Lewis x protein plays a crucial role in cell-cell interactions and is a key player in immune response, as Blood Group Lewis x protein is involved in recognition and binding of cells to selectins, which are important for leukocyte trafficking and adhesion during inflammation. Blood Group Lewis x protein is primarily located on cell surfaces, where Blood Group Lewis x protein contributes to forming a unique carbohydrate profile essential for cellular communication and signaling. Blood Group Lewis x presence on hematopoietic cells is particularly significant, as Blood Group Lewis x protein influences recruitment of immune cells to sites of injury or infection, facilitating effective immune response. Additionally, Blood Group Lewis x carbohydrate determinant is found on both glycolipids and glycoproteins, underscoring Blood Group Lewis x protein′s importance in maintaining proper cellular functions and interactions.
