SEE ALSO...

β2C Tubulin Antibody (1A9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects β2C Tubulin of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-β2C Tubulin antibody (1A9) is available as a non-conjugated form, providing researchers with a versatile tool for studying this critical protein. Tubulin, a major component of the cytoskeleton, plays a vital role in maintaining cell shape, enabling intracellular transport, and facilitating cell division. The β2C Tubulin isoform is predominantly found in the nuclei and nucleoplasm, which is essential for involvement in various nuclear processes, including mitosis and the organization of the nuclear envelope. Understanding the specific functions and locations of β2C Tubulin can provide insights into cellular dynamics and potential implications in diseases where cytoskeletal organization is disrupted. With unique interactions with other tubulin isoforms and proteins, β2C Tubulin is crucial for the formation of microtubules, which are essential for cellular structure and function. β2C Tubulin antibody (1A9) enables researchers to explore these interactions and further elucidate the complex roles of tubulin in cellular biology.

I am using β2C Tubulin (1A9): sc-134230 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
