β-TrCP/HOS Antibody (F-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects β-TrCP/HOS of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). β-TrCP/HOS (F-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The beta-transducin repeat containing protein (β-TrCP) and its homolog HOS (homologous to Slimb) are critical F-box proteins that serve as substrate recognition subunits of ubiquitin ligases, playing a vital role in the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway. β-TrCP/HOS is primarily located in the cytoplasm, facilitating the degradation of key regulatory proteins such as IkB and β-catenin, which are essential for controlling various cellular processes, including cell cycle progression and apoptosis. β-TrCP′s ability to mediate ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of these proteins underscores its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating signaling pathways, particularly those involved in inflammation and cancer progression.
