    SEE ALSO...

Bet1 Antibody (16G6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Bet1 protein of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Bet1 (16G6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Bet1 protein, also known as Bet1p homolog or rbet1, is a Type IV membrane protein essential for vesicle transport from endoplasmic reticulum to Golgi complex, a critical process for maintaining cellular function and protein processing. Bet1 plays a vital role in forming SNARE complexes, which are necessary for ER-derived vesicle fusion with vesicular tubular clusters, facilitating proper protein and lipid trafficking within cells. Bet1 protein is predominantly localized in vesicular structures concentrated in the peri-Golgi region, but is also distributed throughout the cytoplasm, highlighting its importance in cellular organization and transport mechanisms. Bet1′s interaction with other SNARE proteins underscores its significance in membrane fusion events, making Bet1 a key player in the secretory pathway and a valuable target for research in cellular transport dynamics.

Are there any issues with using sc-58247: Bet1 (16G6) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-58247 conjugates.
