    SEE ALSO...

Bcl-11b Antibody (F-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Bcl-11b protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Bcl-11b antibody (F-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Bcl-11b protein, also known as CTIP2 or RIT1, plays a pivotal role in lymphopoiesis and is crucial for T cell development and function. Bcl-11b′s ability to act as a transcriptional repressor maintains the balance of gene expression during lymphocyte development, and disruptions in Bcl-11b locus have been linked to T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Bcl-11b interacts with metastasis-associated proteins MTA1 and MTA2, highlighting Bcl-11b′s involvement in complex regulatory networks that influence cell fate decisions. Bcl-11b′s significance extends beyond normal hematopoiesis, as Bcl-11b dysregulation can contribute to hematopoietic malignancies, making Bcl-11b a critical target for research and therapeutic interventions.

I am using Bcl-11b (F-4): sc-365320 monoclonal antibody to stain paraffin embedded tissue. Do you recommend antigen retrieval when using this antibody?

    Asked by: cjMara
We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining
