BAIAP2L2 Antibody (C-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgA kappa light chain antibody that detects BAIAP2L2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-BAIAP2L2 antibody (C-9) is available as a non-conjugated format. BAIAP2L2, also known as Brain-specific angiogenesis inhibitor 1-associated protein 2-like protein 2, is a 529 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes by acting as an adaptor protein. BAIAP2L2 contains a Src homology 3 (SH3) domain, which is essential for mediating the assembly of specific protein complexes through recognition of proline-rich regions in target proteins. BAIAP2L2 features an IMD (IRSp53/MIM) domain that facilitates interaction with actin filaments, allowing bundling of these filaments and binding to cellular membranes, thereby influencing cytoskeletal dynamics and cellular morphology. BAIAP2L2 is involved in critical signaling pathways, particularly those related to cell migration and angiogenesis.
