ATG5 Antibody (C-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects ATG5 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-ATG5 antibody (C-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ATG5 plays a crucial role in autophagy, which is essential for cellular homeostasis and survival during stress conditions, such as nutrient deprivation. Located in the cytoplasm, ATG5 is involved in forming autophagosomes, membrane structures that encapsulate and degrade damaged organelles and proteins, thereby preventing cellular damage and promoting cell survival.
