ASNSD1 Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects ASNSD1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ASNSD1, also known as HCV NS3-transactivated protein 1 or NS3TP1, is a 643 amino acid protein characterized by one asparagine synthetase domain and a glutamine amidotransferase type-2 domain, which play crucial roles in amino acid metabolism and cellular stress responses. ASNSD1 is involved in asparagine synthesis, an amino acid vital for protein synthesis and cellular signaling. Dysregulation of ASNSD1 has been implicated in various diseases, highlighting ASNSD1′s potential as a therapeutic target. The gene encoding ASNSD1 is located on human chromosome 2, which resulted from the fusion of two ancestral chromosomes. This evolutionary perspective adds an intriguing layer to ASNSD1 research, as understanding genetic context may provide insights into functional roles and cellular interactions. ASNSD1 (A-10) antibody serves as an essential tool for researchers investigating this protein′s biological significance in various physiological and pathological contexts.
