    SEE ALSO...

Arp-T2 Antibody (H-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Arp-T2 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Arp-T2 antibody (H-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Arp-T2, also known as Actin-related protein T2 or Arp-M2, is a 377-amino acid structural cytoskeleton protein that plays a crucial role in the organization and dynamics of the cytoskeleton. Arp-T2 is particularly important due to involvement in the formation of the actin filament network, which is essential for various cellular processes such as cell shape maintenance, motility, and division. Arp-T2 contains an actin-like ATP/ADP-binding pocket and two nuclear export signals, which are vital for function and regulation within the cell. Notably, Arp-T2 shares 43% sequence identity with β-actin and possesses unique cysteine residues that differentiate Arp-T2 from other actin family members. With significant expression in the testis, Arp-T2 is believed to play a pivotal role in spermatid formation, highlighting importance in reproductive biology.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-515601 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
