Arnt 2 Antibody (B-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Arnt 2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Arnt 2 (B-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Arnt 2, also known as aryl hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator 2, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways by facilitating transcriptional activation of genes in response to environmental stimuli, particularly those related to xenobiotic metabolism. Arnt 2 is primarily located in the nucleus and is essential for nuclear translocation of aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR), which, upon binding to ligands, interacts with specific DNA sequences known as xenobiotic responsive elements (XREs) to regulate expression of various genes, including those involved in detoxification processes. Proper functioning of Arnt 2 is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to environmental changes, making Arnt 2 a significant player in regulation of gene expression and cellular responses to toxins.
