Arnt 1 Antibody (4G9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that recognizes Arnt 1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP) applications. Arnt 1, also known as aryl hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by facilitating the transcriptional activity of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR). Arnt 1 (4G9) antibody targets a protein primarily located in the nucleus, where Arnt 1 forms heterodimers with AhR upon ligand binding, allowing for the regulation of genes involved in xenobiotic metabolism and cellular responses to environmental toxins. Nuclear localization of Arnt 1 ensures that transcriptional regulation occurs at the site of gene expression, thereby influencing various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and response to stress. Arnt 1 also regulates hypoxia-inducible factors, linking oxygen availability to gene expression, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis. With significant roles in mediating environmental pollutant effects and involvement in critical cellular pathways, anti-Arnt 1 antibody (4G9) serves as an invaluable tool for studying these complex interactions in various biological contexts.
