    SEE ALSO...

ARHGEF16 Antibody (G-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ARHGEF16 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ARHGEF16 (G-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ARHGEF16 protein, also known as Rho guanine exchange factor 16, plays a crucial role in regulating Rho GTPases, which are essential for numerous cellular processes such as cytoskeletal dynamics, cell migration, and cell cycle progression. Located primarily in the cytoplasm, ARHGEF16 interacts with Rho family GTPases to facilitate the exchange of GDP for GTP, thereby activating these signaling molecules in response to external stimuli. This activation is vital for the proper functioning of G-protein coupled receptors, which mediate various physiological responses. ARHGEF16 consists of 709 amino acids and features a distinctive structure that includes a DBL-homology domain, a pleckstrin homology domain, and an SH3 domain, each contributing to regulatory functions. ARHGEF16 exists in two alternatively spliced isoforms and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 1, which is significant as this chromosome contains a substantial portion of the human genome, encompassing over 3,000 genes and spanning 260 million base pairs.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-377104 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
